Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Rayo Bid, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into binding contracts to use Rayo Bid. By registering, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. You are liable for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Bidding and Purchases

• All bids are final. Once placed, bids cannot be retracted by the bidder.
• All sales are final. There are no returns, refunds, or disputes. Items are sold as-is.
• The highest bidder at auction close wins the item.
• A 15% buyer's premium is added to the winning bid amount.
• Your default payment method on file will be charged automatically upon winning.
• You must have a valid payment method on file before placing any bids.

5. Payment

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By adding a payment method, you authorize Rayo Bid to charge your card for any auctions you win. If your payment fails, you must resolve it promptly. Repeated non-payment may result in account suspension.

6. Item Pickup

• Won items must be picked up at the designated location within 3 business days of payment.
• You must schedule a pickup appointment through the platform.
• If you fail to pick up your item within the deadline, the item is forfeited without refund.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Manipulate auctions through shill bidding or collusion
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data

8. Limitation of Liability

Rayo Bid is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or repeatedly fail to complete payments. You may also request account deletion by contacting support.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
